yes indeed Tobi was made from Zetsus cells but that doesnt mean his not human.. theirs a part in Naruto shippuden that he mention that he was not in his old body anymore this tells us that after his fighting with someone that someone do something to him that destroy his old body so in order to creat a new body he created the Zetsus and live in a Zetsus body or he just created it to live through ages... my conclusion is this (the masked man is someone who is old enough to know a lot of jutsus, older than the real Madara,older enough to process the sharingon with full power, older to know the truth about the sage of the six path like he explain the history of hatred of the older son and the younger son of the six of the six path to Naruto, Kakashi and Yamati.their is only one person who can done all of this and that is the older son of the sage of the six path.) think about it he didnt die after his fight with the younger son, he was also the one who first process the hatred that had pass down to the Uchiha clan. so to live through ages he create Zetsus and live in a his body by a perfectly completed mind transfer jutsus..
